Hi! I’m Hollie and I’m a Certified Herbalist.
I have 800+ school hours for Western Herbalism, interned at a local Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic for over 1 year, and have 3 years combined of studying herbalism, health, and product making. My herbal studies began at Blue Ridge Mountains in Asheville NC, and I moved forward to attain my certification through the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Phoenix, AZ.
My approach brings together traditional herbal knowledge, plant and body energetics, and modern research. Recommendations are shaped around your individual constitution, needs, preferences, and current medications. This can be especially helpful for people navigating recurring or long-term concerns, or anyone who wants thoughtful guidance around the safe and appropriate use of herbs.

Full Process
- You fill out an intake form that goes over current and past concerns, health goals, health history, and lifestyle. All consultations are 100% private and confidential and approached with love, free of judgment.
- Once I receive the information, I’ll go through it, make notes, and prepare for us to connect.
- Afterward, we chat more in-depth about what’s going on, how you’re feeling, and check-in with follow-up questions. When we talk to go over your intake, we can use Zoom, Facebook Messenger, or we can just chat on the phone.
- I will create a PDF write-up for you with information and suggestions about how to work through your ailments holistically, as well as a write-up about the herbs suggested and prepare us to connect again to go over it.
- We can schedule a follow-up consultation afterward to review your progress and see if any changes need to be done.
FAQ
That depends! The general rule of thumb is to take herbs for one month per year of imbalance for optimal effectiveness. For acute concerns (fever, upset stomach, wounds) herbs could work very quickly, but for chronic concerns expect to take herbs regularly for about three months before seeing major results.
No. In the US, herbalism is not covered by insurance. If the payment is a barrier to you, get in touch and we can work something out through my monthly giveaways
Yes! Most of my consultations are currently virtual, so I can see you anywhere you have a strong, secure internet connection. However, you would be missing out on pulse readings that help inform my rationale as there are some things the body can tell us that words may not.
Yes! I am trained in herbal safety and herb-drug interactions. While there is always the chance for an unexpected reaction with any new food or herb, by working with a trained herbalist you can minimize the interaction risk while using plant medicine.
While it varies depending on the needs of the client, types of formulas used, and where you're located, clients pay on average $40-$80/month for tincture blends, and $30-$55/month for tea blends. I am happy to work with clients to find formulas that are cost-effective while still addressing their health goals.
