Welcome to TinyBiotics!

I’m Hollie, the maker and herbalist-in-training behind TinyBiotics, a home for tiny handmade treasures, plant-centered learning, and slow seasonal living. What began as a love for whimsical trinkets has grown into something much deeper

TinyBiotics is rooted in the belief that our connection with plants does not have to be complicated. Herbs can be practical, beautiful, spiritual, scientific, and deeply personal all at once. But for years, I tried to piece together herbal knowledge through scattered Google searches, random online advice, AI generated books (I didn’t know!!), and all conflicting information just left me confused. I knew there had to be a better way to understand herbs with more context, care, safety, and nuance. That search eventually led me to study Western Herbalism formally at SWIHA in their 800 hr program.

Through TinyBiotics, I want to create the kind of learning space I wish I had found earlier. A place that feels welcoming, grounded, curious, and honest. Herbalism can be complex, and I do not believe anyone should have to navigate that complexity alone. My goal is to offer education and herbal consultations that help make sense of this complicated world together, one plant, one question, and one person at a time.

Crafting will always be at the heart of TinyBiotics. I am happiest when I am making tiny trinkets, working with herbs, creating seasonal pieces, building little worlds, and turning ideas into something tangible. To me, crafting is not separate from herbalism. Both are ways of paying attention. Both ask us to slow down, notice the details, and build a more intentional relationship with the world around us.

TinyBiotics is a place for handmade goods, herbal learning, thoughtful consultations, and small reminders that magic can live in ordinary things. Whether you are here for tiny treasures, plant education, tinctures, seasonal inspiration, or support on your own herbal path, I am so glad you found your way here.

About Myself

Sun = Capricorn ♑️ | Moon = Taurus ♉️ | Rising = Sagittarius ♐️

Surprisingly… I am actually a city dweller living in the desert sands of Phoenix, AZ. Despite never being raised in a forest, I found beauty in desert plants and found my love for herbalism just the same.

My path into herbalism and creative living has been gradual, personal, and deeply meaningful. I have always been drawn to the places where nature, spirituality, art, and well-being overlap. Over time, that curiosity became a practice, and that practice became TinyBiotics.

I believe creativity is one of the most honest ways we come to understand ourselves. For me, that creativity shows up through trinkets, tinctures, jewelry, seasonal crafts, plant studies, and the small handmade details that make life feel more alive. Making things has always helped me process my life, express my values, and share a little piece of wonder with others.

Outside of TinyBiotics, you can usually find me reading, gardening, making watercolor art, studying, experimenting, or dreaming. I feel most at home when I am creating, learning from plants, or spending time in nature, and often those things are all woven together.

My hope is that TinyBiotics becomes a welcoming space for people who love handmade things, want to learn about herbs in a more grounded way, and are seeking a softer, more intentional relationship with everyday life. Whether you are brand new to herbalism or already walking your own plant path, there is always more to learn, make, question, and discover together.

Thank you for being here. I adore hearing from this little community, and I always welcome you to contact me anytime.
